We already shared with you a beta version of the Atom Cydia tweak, but now the tweak has been officially released into Cydia. For those that missed our previous article the Atom Cydia tweak changes the way you unlock your iPhone or iPod Touch. It essentially brings about an Android-like lockscreen where you drag a circular button to either the unlock icon or one of the six apps arranged in an Atom formation around the unlock icon.
When you drag the circular button to the unlock icon then your iPhone or iPod Touch will obviously unlock. When you drag it to one of the six app icons, however, the app you dragged the button to will launch automatically. And for those of you with passcodes Atom will indeed work alongside your security mechanism. After unlocking you will be presented with the stereotypical passcode lock screen.
Atom’s six apps can be customized and switched out for other apps through its tab in the Settings app. There is no other settings for the Atom Cydia tweak besides customizing the launcher apps.
If you are interested in the Atom Cydia tweak then you can find it in the BigBoss repo for a price of $1.99. Don’t forget to check out our video walkthrough below and let us know what you think of the new style in the comments section below.
