Those of you who are looking for an awesome free Cydia tweak, then you are in luck! A tweak by the name of SubIc0ns has just rolled onto Cydia that you need to check out. If you have ever heard of the Deck Cydia tweak, then SubIc0ns is kind of a summed down version of that tweak.
If you haven’t heard of Deck, essentially what SubIc0ns does is brings up an action bar of your most frequently used applications that you can configure through the Settings app. You simply set an activator action and you will be multitasking like a pro. It’s nothing fancy, there isn’t crazy animations or necessarily that polished of a GUI, but it works and I sure you will love it.
Inside the SubIc0ns Settings panel there is a killswitch, an Activation Method selection button and of course the 6 configurable apps. To change an application in the action bar you simply tap a position, select the application and then name the application.
Considering SubIc0ns is a free Cydia tweak I urge all of you to check it out! It is extremely useful and is available in the BigBoss repo.
The only thing I think the developer can improve on is making more configurable app positions, with the ability to scroll through them. Be sure to check out our video review of SubIc0ns above and let us know what you think of the tweak in the comments section below.
i checked this out, and so far it crashed my Iphone 5, but not giving up yet ;)
Thanks for posting about this tweak. A couple of observations:
1. You mention Deck, which looks very cool, but is not supported on iOS6.
2. Also, SubIcons seems to have a problem, in that if you happen to invoke it twice, (or more) using whatever Activation method you choose, it presents a duplicate (or more) list of your chosen apps, and the Springboard crashes. Only a hard boot will correct this. I think there should be some checking for multiple attempts to launch, and abandon all subsequent attempts.
I’m curious to see if anyone else has this problem.

my SubIc0ns dont show as a “deck”, its fill the entire screen with black screen with icons on the left side of the screen, >> iphone4 ios 6.1.3 JB, thank you
