Vox is a new tweak that landed on Cydia today that is a replacement for the stock battery indicator on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. With Vox installed you can say goodbye to the stereotypical battery icon that usually tells you how much battery life you have left, and hello to a new round minimalistic icon.
This minimalistic icon is simply a circle that has a lightning bolt when charging and gets smaller as your battery life decreases. The neat thing about the tweak though, is that if you pull down the Notification Center you will see an actual percentage of how much battery life you have left inside the circle. This means you can hide the battery percentage from your status bar, giving it a cleaner look.
There is no options to configure and I installed the tweak and found that it worked without any hiccups. Personally if you are going to change the look of the battery indicator icon in the Status Bar I would go with the Live Battery Indicator Cydia tweak as in my opinion it is more polished and looks better. You will want to try out both, however, to see which one fits your taste better.
You can find Box in the BigBoss repo for free. Be sure to let us know what you think of the tweak in the comments section below.

Seems interesting… sort of. But I wonder how the name “Vox” relates to a battery app. Sounds more like a… well… like a sound app or voice app. Why not Bax, or Bat or Batter or Volter?
Vox?
