HomeDisplay is a Cydia tweak that was released recently that essentially adds a second status bar to the home screen of your iPhone or iPod Touch. Right now the tweak isn’t compatible with the iPad and requires you to be running iOS 6 and above.
In this second statusbar we have the date in the left hand corner of the screen, and the current weather in the right hand corner. When you are playing music through the stock Music app or another application like Spotify, the weather will be replaced with a Now Playing view.
Besides that, that’s everything HomeDisplay brings to the table. There isn’t any configurable options in the Settings app besides a killswitch, which is kind of disappointing. And when you want to take advantage of the kill switch you will need to resrping your device.
For what the tweak does right now it is fairly high priced. It is available on the BigBoss repo for $2. I think this tweak definitely has some big potential and hopefully the developer sees this as well and will extend the tweak through future updates.
