The CamBright Cydia tweak is a tweak that was created by Jack Willis and Bradley Friedman at the WWJC 2013 that makes it so whenever you launch the Camera app the screen brightness will turn up to 100%. This is extremely useful because a lot of people keep their iOS device on a low screen brightness to conserve battery life, but when taking a photo or video you want to be able to see what you are trying to capture.
Having the screen brightness automatically go up to 100% when launching the stock Camera app is extremely useful because it means you never have to worry about taking bad photos or video because you couldn’t see what you were trying to capture and whether or not everything is in focus.
It would be great if CamBright included the ability to select other apps to bring this functionality to, but maybe this will come in a future update.
If you are interested in CamBright you can find it in the BigBoss repo for free. Let us know your thoughts on the tweak in the comments section.
