Despite the fact Gifs are a dying breed, they have started to make a comeback in various Meme images found on sites like Imgur, reactiongifs or 9gag.
If you have ever tried to save a Gif to your camera roll and view it in the stock Photos app, however, you were likely disappointed to find out that it works like a static image.
This can be very frustrating, which is why there is a new Jailbreak tweak which has been released to solve the problem called GIFViewer.
GifViewer will allow you to view animated Gifs in the stock Photos app by simply installing the tweak. There are not settings associated with the tweak you simply install and go.
You can find GifViewer on the BigBoss repo for $0.99. Hopefully Apple will include this functionality stock in the future.
