Almost two months ago, out of the blue, an untethered jailbreak for iOS 7.1.x was released by the Pangu team. The first version was a little problematic, but the developers promised to improve the interface and fix all the bugs. Pangu 1.1 update was released a few days later with Mac support, a proper English interface and a few other bug fixes. Now, the team has released another update to the Pangu jailbreak tool.
Pangu 1.2.0 was released earlier today with the following fixes and improvements:
1. Fix boot loop bug for some iPhone4/4s.
2. Fix sandbox log issue.
3. afc2 is included now.
4. Add patch for task_for_pid.
5. Add notification if jailbreak fail.
If you have been facing any of the following bugs on your jailbroken iOS device, then you most certainly should download the update and perform a fresh jailbreak. It is recommended that you do a complete restore as well, before you jailbreak.
Pangu 1.2.0 is available for both Mac and Windows and can be downloaded from here.
