Now that an iOS 8 jailbreak is out, a lot of you will want to install your favorite tweaks from Cydia. Of course, you will have to install Cydia first, then update Cydia substrate to enjoy the tweaks. However, since this is a new jailbreak, not all your favorite tweaks are going to be compatible.
To make things easier for you, iDB has compiled a list of tweaks that are working with the iOS 8 jailbreak and a list of tweaks that aren’t. Some of these will not work perfectly and could result in crashes, resprings and reboots. Tread carefully!

The iOS 8 jailbreak is just two days old and within the coming weeks, most tweaks should be updated to work on iOS 8 – 8.1. Have you tried any of the jailbreak tweaks in the list? If you have anything to add to the list, please use the comments section.
What is wrong with appcake? It won’t install any apps even with appsync installed on iOS 8.1. Hope a fix comes soon
Thanks , just wanted to clarify that “Action Menu” is not working. crashes every app whenever I want to pull up the menus
Springtomize also not working
Seriously! None of those that say work on iOS 8 work. Major updates are needed in the next few weeks. GroovyLock didn’t show up in settings.
I tried downloading it to, according to their twitter, I read it worked on iOS 8 as well as moviebox 3.1 to, but seems they are still updating/testing things. I tweeted on their page to see what was up. I’m assuming it’ll be a few weeks before things get to be normal, just like iOS 7 jailbreak.
Smarttap works on ios 8.1 (allows you to unlock your iphone by double tapping black screen when locked, can also launch an app)
Just tried to see if Winterboard works, it loads up fine but doesn’t apply the theme settings. Just thought I’d mention it as an FYI.
Also, a suggestion to place a *brief* description of what each tweak is, would be great (I’ve been away from IOS for about a year and a half, so I only remember the oldies such as Springtomize and Gridlock)

Hi Anton thanks for your response could you recommend a few good ones that work? Ive tried Mflat 7ranscendance and the old school Initsua Z series none of them seem to work. Only a couple of icons will be affected… I must be doing something terribly wrong here lol
Install appcake, apple file conduit “2” and DO NOT install appsync unified beta. I tried this yesterday and all my ipas were installed fine. Cheers from Chile, Southamerica.
Bioprotect works fine, also alkaline, batterylife, browser changer, bytafont2, cylinder, icleaner, ifile, menu button emulator, music box, RePower, TransparentDock, Unlimtones, Zeppelin and 3GUnrestrictor. I dont know if winterboard works completely fine. Cheers from Chile!!!

Activator now works with ios8
The information on this page is incorret. Several apps listed here DO NOT work on iOS 8. For instance: ITouchSecure (breaks all other apps).
