Along with the new iPad announcement on March 7th, Apple released the iPhoto application and updates for other popular applications developed by Apple like iMovie. Although new application and updates are always welcome, it was unfortunate to find out you needed to be on iOS 5.1 to take advantage of them. It was recently found out however, that the iPhoto app also works fine on the previous generation iPads and also other iDevices running iOS 5.0.1. In fact, we told you about a simple method on how to get it on older devices running iOS 5.0.1.
If you have installed iPhoto on your iOS device running iOS 5.0.1 and have been facing frequent crashes, then you will be glad to know we have a solution for you! A new Cydia tweak was recently developed to fix crashing issues with the iPhoto application running on iOS 5.0.1 called iPhoto501Fix.
For those of you who would like to give this tweak a try you can find iPhoto501Fix in the BigBoss repo for FREE. Simply install the tweak and respring for the fix to work! Try this tweak and let us know if it resolved the iPhoto crash issues on iOS 5.0.1 in the comments section below…
