The WebSpot Cydia tweak will replace the spotlight page on your SpringBoard with a webpage of your choice. If you find yourself very rarely using the spotlight page then you may find this tweak to be very useful! I personally found that on the iPhone and iPod Touch it is only worth setting a webpage that has a mobile theme because other wise you are stuck scrolling side-to-side. If you are installing the WebSpot Cydia tweak on your iPad however, you can pretty much set the WebSpot Cydia tweak to load any webpage you want.
There are a few options you can configure once you install the WebSpot Cydia tweak to your iOS device. These options include the ability to specify whether you want the toolbar and address bar to be shown, and even if you want your specified website to be autoreloaded every time you view it. As for the performance of this tweak I would give it an average rating. Generally WebSpot is very responsive, but if you set a webpage that does not have a mobile theme you may notice lag spikes; especially on older iOS devices.
If you are interested in the WebSpot Cydia tweak you can find it through the BigBoss repo for FREE. Please share your thoughts about this tweak in the comments section below after you give it a try.
