If you were annoyed that every time you clicked on a link inside an app and it opened in Safari or Chrome, then here’s a tweak that will help in solving the problem. Normally when you tap on any link inside an app it opens up in your default browser. This can be annoying as you have to switch back and forth between both apps. Wouldn’t it be easier if the link just opened up in the same app you’re in?
BrowseInApp is a new Cydia tweak that lets you open links within the same app, instead of launching Safari, Chrome or other browsers. With the tweak installed, you will be able to open links in apps such as Mail, Messages, Notes etc. right within the app. This means there is no need to open it in Safari or other browsers and leave the current app. Of course, you will still get the option to open the link in Safari, Chrome etc.
Options can be configured in the Settings app. That’s pretty much it! As part of initial release, the developer of the tweak is selling BrowseInApp for $0.99. You can download it from the BigBoss repo. Do you need a tweak that lets you open web links within an app and would you buy this? Let us know in the comments.
