If you don’t feel like getting all technical with iFile and changing some of your app icons, then this will be great for you! When I download an app, I prefer it to have a nice, cool looking icon that I can proudly display on my springboard. Cydia offers some themes that can change the icon of select apps!
Now doing this is quite simple, but proper repos are necessary. Although all apps are not available, you can easily find some of the main ones and change them according to your liking. Here is what to do! First launch Cydia and go to search. Then type in the name of the app in which you would like to have the icon changed, and search for the add-on with the new icon…quite easy! For it to work properly, you must also select the theme in WinterBoard.
Some things I have done are changing the Cydia, App Store, and iTunes logo. Developers usually stick with the same icon, but just switch the color. For me, I downloaded the actual iTunes 10 icon and the actual App Store logo to go with the iTunes app. Also for Cydia, I downloaded the Greenpois0n skull, since GP was my jailbreaking tool.
This is quite easy as you can see, and can be limitless. Search for any apps that you would like to change the icon and have a blast!

I really like the green poison icon for your Cydia icon! Pretty cool…

The greenpoison icon looks nice, but I think it would be even better when it’s a square with round edges like all other icons.
