Apple’s latest iOS firmware, 8.1.2, can be jailbroken using the TaiG tool and if you’ve already done it, you’re probably wondering what Cydia tweaks are compatible. Folks usually jailbreak to try out tweaks that can be installed via Cydia and with every new jailbreak, the tweaks have to be updated to work bug free on the firmware.
If you’ve been holding off jailbreaking iOS 8.1.2 because you’re unsure whether your favorite tweak will work, then the following list will be of great help. Once you’ve jailbroken, you’re probably going to try out your favorite tweaks, but if they aren’t compatible, they can lead to bootloops, SpringBoard crashes etc. Every new iOS firmware breaks the support for a Cydia tweak and hence needs to be updated.
Thanks to Twitter user iAdam1n, a frequently updated list of Cydia tweaks that are compatible with iOS 8.1.2, is available to us. This list shows the tweaks that are fully and partially compatible with the latest version of iOS, in this case, iOS 8.1.2. If a tweak isn’t fully compatible, it shows what isn’t working or what bugs are present. The list also tells us if the tweak has 64 bit support. As of now, the list provides information on over 1000 tweaks.
