Do you speak one language and type in another? By default, the Dictation feature on the iPhone 4S and the new iPad works with the language the keyboard is set to. Dictator unbinds the keyboard and Dictation key’s language settings, allowing the Dictation function to appear alongside keyboards with currently unsupported languages.
Dictator installs a directory in Settings which includes an enable/disable toggle as well was a language settings for all of Dictation’s officially supported languages.
Dictator is (somewhat ironically) a FREE Cydia tweak and is available in the Cydia package manager through the BigBoss repository. Dictator requires iOS 5.1 as well as support for the Dictation. In addition to being free, the source for Dictator is available on Github, if you’re looking to incorporate some of Dictator’s features in an app of your own.
