There has been a lot of buzz around the latest port of Siri – H1Siri. The unfortunate thing about H1Siri, however, is that it is illegal, it is not very stable and it does not always work. This pretty much renders H1Siri, useless. If you are someone who is looking for a reliable port of Siri, then we might have some good news for you. ESRA, standing for Experimental Speech Response Application, is a Work In Progress port of Siri to older iOS devices like the iPhone 4, first generation iPad and iPod Touch 3G/4G that was released into Cydia recently.
I personally tested out the ESRA Cydia application and I can say that while ESRA is nothing like Siri, it is a step in the right direction. The reason ESRA is nothing like Siri, is because it lacks accurate voice recognition technology. I would save over fifty percent of the time, ESRA does not pick up your voice commands correctly. When ESRA does correctly pick up what you actually mean to say, however, it is pretty neat. Thus, I would recommend that if you have some spare time on your hands, to at least check out ESRA, but don’t go out of your way.
If you are interested in the ESRA Cydia application you can download it from Cydia in the BigBoss repo for FREE. Let us know what you think of the ESRA Cydia application in the comments section below…

Voice recognition isn’t that good and there are not many commands but they do say that they are going to add daily to there servers and if they let the public add there own commands and a activation method using activator it will be pretty good.
