There has been a ton of lockscreen Cydia tweaks coming out lately such as JellyLock, Piano Passcode and many others. Today another one joins the ranks and it’s called FXOSLock. At first I was pretty excited to try out FXOSLock, but after installing the tweak I was disappointed to find that it wasn’t customizable whatsoever (the developer does note this mind you).
Essentially when you install FXOSLock the default slider on the lockscreen gets replaced with a circle that can be slid over to the right or to the left. Sliding it over to the right will unlock your device and sliding it over to the left will launch the Camera app. That’s all the tweak does, you can’t replace the Camera app shortcut with another application or customize how the slide to unlock circle looks.
Considering that the tweak costs $0.99 it is a little bit disappointing. In my opinion if you are going to be charging for a tweak there should be some sort of customization options. I would recommend staying away from FXOSLock for the time being, but if you are a fan of the new simple unlocking method it brings about then the tweak might be for you.
You can find it in the BigBoss repo for a price of $0.99. Be sure to let us know what you think of the tweak in the comments section below.
