Last week we told you about a Cydia tweak that was being developed by @FlippoBiga, which was going to be called WallpaperLog. What this Cydia tweak aimed to do was put an active console log as the background for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. This would of allowed you to see some processes that are usually hidden from your eyes by the GUI (graphical user interface). Unfortunately because FlippoBiga realized this Cydia tweak had little purpose (for most people) he decided not to release WallpaperLog into an official Cydia repository. What he did do, however, was make the .deb file available for those who actually want to go a head and try this Cydia tweak out.
If you were someone who was looking forward to installing the WallpaperLog Cydia tweak on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, then you will be glad to know in this how to guide from iJailbreak.com you will learn how to manually install the WallpaperLog Cydia tweak.
How To Install WallpaperLog Cydia Tweak
Step 1) – The first thing you will need to do is Jailbreak your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad running the iOS 5.0 or iOS 5.0.1 firmware. For more information on how to Jailbreak your iOS device please go to iJailbreak’s How To Jailbreak Section.
Step 2) – The next thing you will need to do is launch Cydia.
Step 3) – With Cydia up and running go into the Search tab and search for the following Cydia package:
syslogd
Step 4) – When you see the syslogd Cydia package come up on your search results you will need to install it to your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. The reason we are installing syslogd is so that the WallpaperLog Cydia tweak has somewhere to retrieve active process information.
Step 5) – Next you will need to download a file-system editor program for your Windows or Mac OS X computer. We recommend a program called iExplorer, which can be downloaded by clicking here. The last thing you will need to download is the WallpaperLog.deb file. This can be downloaded by clicking here.
Note: The actual name of the .deb file is com.filippobiga.wplog_1.0-1_iphoneos-arm.deb.
Step 6) – With the required files downloaded you will need to launch your file-system editor program and go to the following directory:
private\var\root\Media\Cydia\AutoInstall
Note: When you get to the Media folder you may not see a Cydia folder. If this is the case for you then you will need to create a folder dubbed Cydia and then another folder inside the Cydia folder dubbed AutoInstall (yes, these folders are case sensitive).
Step 7) – Once you are in the directory shown above you will need to drop the WallpaperLog.deb file you downloaded earlier into the AutoInstall folder.
Step 8 ) – When the file has finished transferring you will simply need to reboot your iOS device twice and then you should notice an active console log as the background of your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
How to remove: After installing the WallpaperLog Cydia tweak I noticed my SpringBoard (homescreen) was very laggy. If you have noticed this and would like to remove the WallpaperLog Cydia tweak simply launch Cydia, go into the Manage Tab, then the Packages Section and finally find the WallpaperLog Cydia tweak and remove it from your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
Congratulations you have just installed the WallpaperLog Cydia tweak on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad! For more how to guides like the one you just followed please visit iJailbreak’s How To Section. Additionally, please leave any further questions or thoughts in the comments section.

All .deb files can be downloaded with safari and then directly installed with iFile.
This will make it much easier for everyone to install .deb files without the need of a computer.

I think this will have the same effect as a a live wallpaper and kill your battery in instants.
On another note I like the theme of the first pic to left. Anybody knows what is it?
