With the iOS 5 firmware being released recently Apple has actually managed to combine several Cydia tweaks into the actual iOS operating system. While the iOS 5 operating system is by far one of the best (if not the best) mobile operating systems out there, I am sure there is still room for improvement. Where will this improvement come from? From the Jailbreaking Community of course!
If you remember several months ago iJailbreak.com asked you to make a Cydia tweak wish – we wanted your thoughts on some Cydia tweaks that you would like to be developed that are not currently available in Cydia. Today we are asking you the same question because we think, as the iOS 5 firmware has changed the way you use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. There will be some new inspiration for Cydia tweaks which will work alongside the iOS 5 firmware.
So to keep things short and simple. Please let us know of some of your Cydia tweak ideas which are not already available through Cydia in the comments section below. Creativity is key!

For me, it’s folders without limitation, subfolders within folders, voice anouncement of incoming calls and texts, text readout, unlocked icon grid and live clock and weather. Of course theming would be an extra luxury but can’t have everything.
Active VPN: Whenever I am not on selected wifi networks I want to use my vpn.
I’ve got ideas that I’m making myself, but the possibility to use Dropbox system-wide (like Twitter) would be nice. Especially if I can edit HTML files and preview them in Safari without storing anything on my device.

When asking Siri for map directions have it automatically go to my TomTom app instead of the stock maps app…kinda like the tweak “navigate from maps”

Sorry for the double post, but if the MySQL server and the PHP Mysqli extension can get ported to iOS, as well as an SBSettings toggle for the server, it’d make my day, because we’ll be able to make full-blown Websites on our iDevices, without a computer.

It is called AptBackup. It backs up a list of installed Cydia packages on your device and saves the list in your devices iTunes backup. Then after you upgrade or restore your device, you just go back into the AptBackup app and hit ‘Resotre’. It re-installs all of your Cydia packages automatically. As for recording purchased apps, I’m not sure if you mean App Store apps or Cydia apps. Purchased App Store apps are stored on your computer in your iTunes library and they can also be re-downloaded via your iTunes account. Your Cydia Store purchases are stored on your Google or Amazon account, depending on which one you use to purchase packages on the Cydia Store. I hope this helped.~JaredClegh0rn22~
You can sync wirelessly without being connected to a power supply, you just have to go to Settings>General>iTunes Wi-Fi Sync and hit ‘Sync Now’. Hope this helped. ~JaredClegh0rn22~

An app that when opened it would log you out of anything u assigned it to log u out of like Facebook or Twitter or Snapchat…ect . Good for when anyone want to borrow your device but you can’t really trust them. You can call it LogoutButton or something like that.
