The time is finally here! That is right, Luna has finally been released for the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. For those that missed our previous coverage on Luna’s development, the tweak allows you to enable and disable Do Not Disturb Mode directly from the Lockscreen or Notification Centre with a simple pull down gesture.
It was developed by Ryan Petrich based off a concept by Sentry, the same mind behind tweaks like Auxo. Besides the ability to easily enable and disable Do Not Disturb mode it comes with non-intrusive banners for notifications when Do Not Disturb is activated and you are using your device. With Do Not Disturb mode enabled, if you receive a notification it appears in the Status Bar.
There is indeed a Settings panel for Luna that allows you to configure where you can enable and disable Do Not Disturb mode, toggle the notification banners and lastly toggle alert tones.
Luna is definitely an awesome Cydia tweak and as it was developed by Ryan Petrich you know it is quality. You can find it in the BigBoss repo for a price of $2. Be sure to let me know what you think of the tweak in the comments section below and don’t forget to check out our video walkthrough.
