You’ve jailbroken an iPhone and installed a few Cydia tweaks. Maybe you’ve rooted your Android tablet and installed a custom launcher. So you fancy yourself a hacker now? Don’t be ridiculous! €>€®¥¤ñ€ /<ñ¤vv§ |¬@¢/<€®§ †¥þ€ ¡ñ ¢¤^^þ|€†€ ç¡ß߀®¡§|¬. Allow me to introduce Message Transformer, a Cydia app that converts plain text into ALL CAPS, no caps, igpay atinlay, ¡ñÀ¢¡þ|¬€®@ß|€ ß|¤ß§ ¤ƒ †€×â€, and can even print text sdrawkcab.
There are two problems I have with message transformer: 1. There is no reason for Message Transformer to be a Cydia app; it does not do anything that apps in the iTunes Store can’t do. 2. While Message Transformer will happily encode messages into ç@®ß|€à ß|¤ß§ ¤ƒ §¥^^ߤ|, it does not provide any method of decoding these messages. Worse, I can’t find ANY method of decoding the “hackerized” text. Then again, I have never seen anyone who works with code ever use this, so maybe I’m just not part of the secret club.
If for some reason you want to annoy your friends or pose as a person who can speak the language of, uh, overheating Commodore 64s, Message Transformer is available for FREE on Cydia in the ModMyi repository. Just don’t blame us if your former friends tell you to amscray.
Let us know what you think of the app (or if you can find a method of decoding the hackerized text) in the comments section below. Please post legibly.
