The Notification Center in iOS 5 is very useful for users, as it displays all the latest notifications and other information via widgets. When the Notification Center is rolled down, you cannot view or use the app in the background. Suppose, you got a new notification for an important email and you’re writing a text message, there’s no way that you can view the notification and continue typing the text message at the same time.
NCControl is a new Cydia tweak, that lets you roll down the Notification Center and continue using an application in the background. The NCControl Cydia tweak allows you to use applications in the background by making the Notification Center transparent. You can literally type an email on the Mail.app, while the Notification Center is rolled down. Want to tell your friend what the weather forecast looks like? Just roll down the Notification Center and continue chatting on Whatsapp, iMessageĀ and more!
Of course, if the Notification Center is filled with notifications, you would have to cancel them to free up some space to use the app in the background. I know, it may sounds complicated, but it works pretty well.
The NCControl Cydia tweak is available in the BigBoss repo for FREE. Install it and tell us what you think of it in the comments section below…
