The SBRotator Cydia tweak was initially developed for the iOS 3 firmware generation and has long since been one of my all time favourite Cydia tweaks. What the SBRotator tweak actually does to your iPhone or iPod Touch is give it the ability to be rotated horizontally (landscape mode) on your SpringBoard and lockscreen. This brings an almost iPad-like feel to your iPhone or iPod Touch.
In its current form, SBRotator 5 has a multitude of features such as the ability to customize your rotation orientation, the duration it takes to rotate, and you can even configure an orientation lock activator action for when you do not want your iPhone or iPod Touch to rotate. SBRotator 5 also brings native horizontal rotation support to applications that do not yet support the landscape view by default (such as the Settings.app).

Does the Phone app get rotation support? It’s hard to justify $2.99 for an interface tweak, but Phone app support might make or break the deal for me.
Is it me or compared to ios4 this one feels like “lite” version?
There are almost no configuration options and the only plugin I found in cydia is to rotate Settings.app (no AppStore, YouTube etc..)

I actually landed on this site trying to figure out why my phone or settings won’t rotate. At first I thought it was simply conflicting apps but I actually removed all apps except for sbrotator and still no luck. So to your question… no those fuckers lied or I’m doing something wrong cause my phone or other native apps have no rotation support. Anyone who has a cure please email me @ inkletdrops@gmail.com, thanks.
So my conclusion is after seeing in the description of the app that you can now download plugin’s for sbrotator, and seeing how the author of the app created a plugin simply for rotating the settings app, I reason that despite writing “you can rotate things like the phone app”, he just hasn’t gotten around to creating plugins for them… or is waiting for someone else to create them.
