Are you looking to add some useful information or features to the iOS 7 App Switcher?
SlideForUsage is a free new jailbreak tweak developed by ianb821 which was inspired by Sentry, a well known Visual Interaction Designer, that displays hidden information behind each application card.
After installing SlideForUsage users can double click on the Home button to bring up the multitasking interface and swipe down on the individual application cards to reveal convenient information.
You will have to use a swipe down and hold gesture in order to reveal the information, and once you let go, the card will go back up to its normal position, hiding the information.
SlideForUsage displays when the application was last opened, how long you used the application the last time you opened it, and the total amount of time you have used the application since you have installed the tweak. In addition, users can slide down on the home screen to reveal the last time they have rebooted their device.
The tweak also provides its own preference pane in Settings where users will have the option to choose from 12 colors for text, the slide down sensitivity and the ability to choose whether or not to remove the data from applications when they are deleted.
SlideForUsage is a nice way to monitor application usage time and adds some great functionality to the stock multitasking switcher. You can find the free tweak on the ModMyi repository. Let us know what you think of it in the comments.
