The swipe to call, text or email function was first seen on the Android operating system. If you have an Android phone, you can easily call or message a contact by swiping either left or right. Thanks to a new Cydia tweak, this functionality can now be made use of on your jailbroken iOS device as well.
Swipe2Call is a new jailbreak tweak that enables you to add call, text and email shortcuts to various contact names. Once the tweak is installed you can swipe left/right on a contact name to place a call or send a text message. To compose an email to that contact, tap and hold the contact name. All this can be done without venturing into the contacts details page, which is pretty useful. Furthermore, you can configure the options, such as what happens when you swipe left/right, in the Settings app.
You can download Swipe2Call from the ModMyi repo for $1.49, which maybe a little too much for this tweak, despite its usefulness. What do you think?
