Did you know that even though there is an option to upload HD videos to YouTube and Facebook, the video is never the full 720p your iPhone can take while uploading? This is because Apple limits the ability to upload 720p videos to online services such as YouTube and Facebook (which, in the end, makes the uploading process faster). If you are interested in removing this limitation, however, you can do so by installing a new tweak called True HD. Once installed, True HD will automatically remove this limitation allowing you to share HD videos shot from your iPhone 4 to the web.
If you are interested in the True HD tweak it is available through Cydia for FREE. Personally I did not even realize Apple put this limitation while uploading HD videos to online services such as YouTube and Facebook; thus a free tweak like this is always welcome in my books. Let us know your thoughts about the True HD tweak in the comments section below…

WTF!?? Why would Apple brag about the iPhone 4’s 720p abilities and then be sneaky about it. I mean And yes, I get it, nobody claimed that the iPhone 4 supported 720p uploads. Apple merely promised that the device takes actual 720p video and you can upload it to you YouTube. The technicality being that Apple never claimed that you could upload the 720p video that the iPhone 4 does record *at the same 720p rate*. LOLOL!!?!?!?!?!?
I guess I’ll revisit the WWDC 2010 iPhone 4 introduction to see what was said and what wasn’t. The limit is something that AT&T probably has the biggest interest in…………

I don’t have an iphone4 but I still can’t upload my 720p from iMovie to YouTube. It only shows 640×360 medium quality. Will this work for my Mac also?
