Earlier today we told you that the iPhone Dev-Team mentioned on their official blog that the latest version of RedSn0w is indeed compatible with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. There is only one slight difference with the way RedSn0w needs to be launched on Mountain Lion due to the implementation of Gatekeeper. This will eventually be taken care of in a future update once the iPhone Dev-Team are able to obtain an official Apple Developer ID for RedSn0w. In the meantime you will need to launch RedSn0w using a keyboard shortcut explained in this guide on Jailbreaking your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with RedSn0w on Mountain Lion.
Note: In this guide I am assuming you will either be Jailbreaking an A4 or A5 iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad on the iOS 5.1.1 firmware untethered. If you are not then you may want to check out our How To Jailbreak Section, but follow Step 2 for launching RedSn0w on Mountain Lion.
