Before this the root for the Motorola Droid 3 was a long and intimidating one. We now have a one click solution, thanks to the guys at rootzwiki.
Head here to download all the necessary files. Below are the steps listed out:
- Make sure you have Motorola drivers installed. While on the rootzwiki site downloading the drivers also download the ‘Droid 3 easy root script v7’. Unzip this file.
- On your phone go to Settings/Applications/Development/USB debugging and check the box. Plug your phone into your computer with charge only.
- Run “Click to root your phone” .bat file in the folder. Simply follow the on screen instructions.
