Hacking Apple’s iOS devices is an extremely hard task and is definitely not for the feint hearted. In fact, I remember talking to Comex awhile back about just how difficult hacking Apple’s iOS devices were and he stated that they were the hardest devices he had come across to actually exploit. This was just about two years ago, and now with Apple releasing numerous other products since then we see Jailbreaking becoming even more increasingly complicated. In fact, it was stated by the Dream Team that the iPhone 4S Jailbreak was the most complicated Jailbreak ever created to date!
Due to the Dream Team’s hard work on the A5 Untethered Jailbreak they will be presenting at the Hack In The Box (HITB) security conference this year according to a tweet sent out by P0sixninja.
For those of you who have not heard of Hitb you can take a look at the official event description in the quoted area below.
The main aim of our conferences has always been to enable the dissemination, discussion and sharing of deep knowledge network security information. Our main focus is on new and groundbreaking attack and defense methods that have not been seen or discussed in public before. HITBSecConf events bring together a unique mix of security professionals, researchers, law enforcement and members of the hacker underground under one roof and our flagship event in Malaysia sees over 1000 attendees.
Congratulations to the Dream Team at this opportunity and iJailbreak.com wishes them the best of luck with their presentation. We will keep our eyes open to see if there is a recording of their presentation available after the presentation takes place, which will be during the end of May. In the mean time, please leave any thoughts in the comments.
