With the release of the iOS 6.x Untethered Jailbreak came a whole new wave of Jailbreakers. One of the most popular outlets for Jailbreakers to talk about Jailbreaking, Cydia tweaks etc. is Reddit. We have written a bunch of articles from information that comes from Reddit, be it an AMA (ask me anything) or a prominent developer sharing his thoughts.
Now the Reddit community have put together an infographic showcasing what they are calling the typical Jailbreaker from over 360+ responses. The infographic is definitely interesting, but still lacks real credibility because of the low number of responses. It would be interesting if someone could put together a larger scale survey and create an infographic based off its results.
Regardless, it is still worth checking out below…
According to the infographic the average Jailbreak lives in the United States, is a teenager, has either an iPhone 4S or an iPhone 5 and has nearly 30 tweaks installed. As for the most popular tweaks and themes, they don’t really come as a surprise if you have experienced them before.
You can add to the survey by clicking here. Why do you think? Do the results accurately depict the average Jailbreaker? Let us know in the comments section.

360+ people is really a small number considering the size of the JB community. This data collection (even if it was difficult to survey people) is obviously too small and may be slightly biased. Nonetheless, the data seems very spread at least (for it’s number) as most of these stats seems to correlate to similarities of results of what I’ve experienced and my peers.
